NDC for Providers + Educators

For providers and educators working with families

The NDC Institute acknowledges the valuable work of a wide range of providers and educators whose qualifications and scope of practice do not fall into the category of registered health professional, but who provide valued support for families with babies and toddlers, every working day. NDC for Providers + Educators translates the latest research across the interrelated and interacting domains of breastfeeding and lactation, infant feeds, infant sleep, cry-fuss problems, sensory motor development, and perinatal mental health into a pathway built for this scope of practice.

Who this is for

Providers and educators who benefit from this program include (but are not limited to) doulas, breastfeeding counsellors, bodywork therapists, childcare workers, complementary therapists, and IBCLCs from a non-registered health professional background.

If you are a registered health professional, please explore the NDC Masterclasses and NDC Accreditation pathway instead.

Providers and educators who maintain their membership help fund the framework they work from. Possums is a social enterprise, and Maintenance memberships help pay for the delivery of research, education, and care to both parents and the professionals who support them.
